@lavernecox : As I prepare to watch "Pose" on FX tonight, I am reminded of preparing to watch the premiere of "Dirty Sexy Money" eleven years ago in the fall of 2007. "Dirty Sexy Money"  was something all my friends were talking about. It was going to feature Candis Cayne in a recurring role.  Candis Cayne was going to become the first openly trans actor to have a recurring role on a prime time TV show. That moment changed my life. It made me believe I could be openly trans and a working actor. I can't wait to see how many trans folks will tune into "Pose" tonight and what they will do with the world of possibility that will open for them seeing a show with trans writers, actors,  directors and producers.
