@lavernecox : Lord help me for showing this. #fbf. The left is an old passport photo. My roots, the braids growing out, A MESS!!! Lol. I can see the mess but I can also see the cute girl there. I didn't feel cute at the time though. I wanted to be further along in my transition. I still got misgendered everytime I left my home. I never felt safe. I didn't feel lovable. I was so insecure. But I was also happy that I had finally moved out of denial and was accepting my womanhood and taking the steps to live more authentically. It wasn't easy then. It still isn't. Different levels, different devils. But I am still here. I keep on keeping on and that feels like a miracle today. #TransIsBeautiful #pride🌈
