@lavernecox : To have been alive for the 8 years that @barackobama was POTUS, the pride I have always felt being American was multiplied to infinity. I still want to believe that even in our imperfections this great American experiment is a beautiful one with incredible possibilities. That has certainly become harder to believe lately but President Obama has always provided us the audacity of hope. He also always reminded us that that hope needed to be accompanied by action. "Don't boo, vote," was just one of those many reminders. Happy #ObamaDay. Happy Birthday President Obama. #vote
