@lavernecox : Ms. Price singing "Vissi D'arte" from the opera Tosca by Puccini. In 1955 she became the first black singer to sing televised opera when she sang this role in English on NBC television. The south didn't air the broadcast because Price is black. Thank you Ms. Price for breaking barriers and providing a blueprint for excellence and transcendence through artistic expression.
