For those of you who don't know, Mx Bond is a living legend and one of the foremost cabaret artists in the world who is also a brilliant writer and actor. You reminded me last night part of why I moved to NYC so many years ago. Just a few hours experiencing once again your wit, wisdom, freedom, brilliance and fearlessness, reconnected me to the scrappy tenacity peppered with a fierce sense of humor that helped me and folks like us survive in this city for so long. Thank you Viv for existing, for surviving and for carrying with you at all times the fierce, fearless queens, queers, trans folks and nonconformists who came before you and have stood beside you.
