I’m pretty sure this is not a great way to lose weight #friedgreentomatoes - Beat 1 cup buttermilk and 1 egg together in a bowl - Blend equal parts corn meal and bread crumbs in a bowl then add a little salt and pepper - 1 cup of flour in a separate bowl- Slice un ripe green Tomatoes to half inch thick and place them on paper towels for a few mins - Then drudge the sliced tomatoes in flour - then buttermilk- then corn meal mixture - then fry them in a skillet filled 1/4 inch high with olive oil over medium high ish heat - once golden brown on each side let rust on paper towels - yum

Today is Remember Me Thursday®, where the world shines a light on all orphan pets in shelters and raises awareness of the life-saving significance of pet adoption. He just passed a few months ago and was the most incredible companion to my mother in law nancy and to all of my children when we would visit !! He was a rescue!!
