@markruffalo : The Standing Rock Sioux Tribe has proven once again why they’re one of the most resilient, innovative, and powerful communities out there. They didn’t let the Dakota Access Pipeline defeat them. Instead, they turned their anger into action and Standing Rock is now home to one of North Dakota’s very first solar farms. This project was from the mind of Cody Two Bears, Tokata Iron Eyes, and is supported by @givepowerfoundation and @jinkosolar_us. It’s one of the many examples of indigenous communities are committed protecting Mother Earth and combating climate change.
