@hartluck : My dude @rickycarmichael sent this to me. Thought it was suiting for #WayBackWednesday post. This is from the 1998 Daytona supercross. Second place in the 250 LCQ to make it into the main. That time of my life was so exciting even though I barely had a pot to piss in. Me in my van, with a paper map of the US, and a calling card. I did the entire 250 sx season this year by myself. I remember at this race I got a flat tire in my heat race. Had to switch my tube (no spare wheels) in a 10 minute window and make it back to the gate. I was sweating bullets and when I got to the gate, I was breathing like I just did a moto 😂. Even though it was a brutal grind, and my last year racing sx, it was so much fun being in that adventure.
