@annehathaway : Adam and I join in the worldwide mourning of 11 innocent lives lost in Pittsburgh this weekend. We join in the forceful, worldwide, ongoing condemnation of White Nationalism, Anti-Semitism, and all forms of hate. We reject communities that are formed around the hatred, marginalization, and oppression of any group or religion under the flimsy cover of "free speech". We are full of sorrow, and we remain unbowed. Our hearts are broken, and we do not despair. We are full of love in the face of hate, as has been asked of us, always. We close our eyes and remember that the message of every great martyr and spiritual teacher has reflected the same truth: the path is clear, long, difficult, and worth it. We open our eyes and see that path which is made of, and has always led to, love. The glory of the soul is our true inheritance. We take the next step together.
