@chrissymetz : @girlupcampaign #girlhero awards were beautifully moving and epic! Congratulations to all the INCREDIBLE honorees! Girl up is not only a necessary global movement but an organization that gives young women leadership training and a platform to have a voice to defend gender equality. It was quite an honor to be awarded personally and to award my girl hero, @danasuchow for fighting the good fight! I came across Dana’s page and instantly felt a part of, important and inspired. She doesn’t just talk the talk, but walks it. Even if the path is uncomfortable and uncertain. Dana educates parents to prevent eating disorders and champions for body neutrality. She has questioned, challenged (and conquered) corporate messaging and its effects on young people and all people for that matter. Thank you Dana for being a beacon of light and love not only for me but for this world.❤️
