@lisa_wilkinson : Tonight on Sunday @theprojecttv I have the enormous joy of catching up with much-loved actor Tom Long, star of SeaChange and The Dish, upon his return from Seattle and his last ditch attempt to find a cure for the Multiple Myeloma he has battled for seven exhausting years. In March when we last caught up, Tom was given just three months to live. His lead up to finally getting the treatment he so desperately needed, was touch and go. And just look at him and his beautiful family now! But to have this life-saving therapy, Tom had to spend hundreds of thousands of dollars and travel to the other side of the world because Australian health authorities said he, and so many others like him diagnosed with blood cancer, “don’t qualify” for local treatment.
