@marthastewart : Stylist and financial adviser @davidbenrud and @gregfoster55410's rural property in Wisconsin, dubbed the Lost Creek Farm, became "an incubator for hobbies we'll have in our retirement." The barn, built in the 1970s, soars over a 120-year-old two-bedroom cabin 150 paces away. The place captivated the couple with its passive-solar upgrades, particularly the greenhouse spanning one side. Working on a tight budget, they made modest renovations, including turning one section of the greenhouse into a spa shower and another into a reading room. Both talented woodworkers, they crafted many pieces themselves.
