@whododatlikedat : Hey, everybody! Happy International Women’s Day! Today @Iskra and I (along with all of the #AerieRoleModels!) are joining @Aerie in celebrating women and supporting women! That said, I’d like to take a sec and honor one of my role models—@iamreginaking. For me, Regina King and her career have always been such a huge motivator. I thought about wanting to be an actor often when I would watch her on “227.” She made the aspirations of a young black girl like me seem attainable. When it comes to my career, my ambitions, my dreams, and even what I now believe is possible for me as an artist, I have to give a lot of credit to Regina and the hope she has instilled in me just by being her. Her authenticity is contagious and her strength is more than palpable. (Also, she just won an Oscar! Sooo...big ups, sis! You deserve it!)
