@melissajoanhart : Someone is 6!!!! Our baby. I’ve been telling my family and friends with new babies that from 1-5 years old seems to take forever but after 5 seems to fly. I’m having trouble with this little guy getting older. For years I heard people say we had a young family and “babies” at home, but now we have “kids” and no more babies. While things have gotten easier in some ways, and watching our boys grow is my greatest joy, I also feel like we are losing them a little bit each year as they become more independent and more defiant to the traditions and plans we want for them. I’m sure many moms of older kids can give me lots of wonderful advice in the comments and I welcome them as I sit here savoring every little moment with these wonderful children of ours.
