@melissajoanhart : 10 years ago today my Uncle Mark (far right) left this earth. He was so full of life, always the life of the party, the “fun one”. After surviving a devastating and debilitating stroke, he was left without speech and slowly over 9 years lost the ability to move on his own. He had demons and addiction issues that grew worse after his stroke and ultimately took him too early from us and especially his young son who never got to know the fun Uncle Mark that we knew. I pray that anyone out there reading this gets help for addiction and/or learn the signs of a stroke. Whatever will help you have more birthdays than my uncle got to celebrate. #neverforget
