@common : When I got the message from @blackthought that Dave NY had transitioned to the next life, I was hurt and it hit me hard. I hadn’t talk to Dave in a while but he had been a thread that me Tariq , @talibkweli , the Great Jay Dilla and a lot of us in music had known and relied on. His Energy was special and unique in that with Dave, you knew everything was gonna be good and all would be taken care of. He took care of Dilla when he was sick and looked out in anyway possible and anyone that came around he made feel like Family. If there are angels on this planet, he was one and will continue to be with all the love and energy he left us with. My prayers and love to his family and loved ones. I know you and Dilla are saying “ there go Rash on that Hollywood Stuff”. Ha. GOD Bless your Soul my Brother. Love
