@katiecouric : In case you missed last night, President Trump has nominated Judge Brett Kavanaugh to fill Justice Kennedy’s seat on the Supreme Court. He is a federal appeals court judge, a former aide to President George W. Bush and a onetime investigator of President Clinton. Not surprisingly, his nomination is being received very differently depending on your views. Trump described Kavanaugh is “one of the finest and sharpest legal minds in our time.” After the announcement, Chuck Schumer said “I will oppose Judge Kavanaugh’s nomination with everything I have.” The big question marks may be Susan Collins and Lisa Murkowski.
