@katiecouric : Daniel Stein, 71. Daniel was a very active and involved member of the community. He was a generous and kind man; when his nephew Stephen lost his father, he had to clean out his condo and move his mother’s things to Pittsburgh, and feared he would have to do it alone. But Daniel offered to join him and for days the two of them worked side by side to pack up the condo. He had also recently become a grandfather “My dad was a simple man and did not require much.” Writes Joe Stein, Daniel’s son. “In this picture he was having a great day doing two things he loved very much.
