@katiecouric : Oh and this young man Friday night! He is another national treasure. Loved being with my friend @scotthamilton84 at the #buyingtime benefit, an event started by our friends Dave and Clare Butler, truly remarkable people, in honor of Dave’s brother Dan who died of colon cancer when he was just 42. (like Jay...) Scott, who has had a very difficult journey—he’s been diagnosed with cancer three times—was so inspiring. He’s such a funny, lovely, charming guy! And at the spur of the moment I auctioned myself and @espnhannahstorm off for dinner...and we raised $50,000 for colon cancer research! #yay #goodpeople #thereishopeintheworld (yikes I need a better filter on this. And clearly I like the hand on chest pose! 🤪)
