@katiecouric : Scenes from the #californiawildfires taken by Ringo HW Chiu for the Associated Press. These images capture scenes from the destruction of Camp Fire, Woolsey Fire, and Hill Fire. Camp Fire has killed at least nine people in Paradise, CA and destroyed 6,453 structures. The Woolsey Fire has displaced over 200,000 people in Ventura County and Malibu. Hill Fire is burning near Thousand Oaks, where the Borderline mass shooting took place. The fire started Thursday and spread quickly, torching 10,000 acres in just six hours. I’m thinking of all those affected and the incredible firefighters who are working to contain the fires.
