She is also a registered nurse and was formerly a senior advisor at the US Department of Health and Human Services. 🔹@drleanawen is the new president of @plannedparenthood. She is a former emergency physician and also served as the health commissioner for Baltimore City. Dr. Leana is also the author of the book “When Doctors Don’t Listen: How to Avoid Misdiagnoses and Unnecessary Tests” which is all about teaching patients how to advocate for themselves. 🔹@mikiesherrill is the newly elected congresswoman for New Jersey’s 11th District. She is a former federal prosecutor and US Navy helicopter pilot. If this doesn’t show the world is changing I don’t know what does! It was cool to be in their presence to say the least!
