@katiecouric : If you haven’t heard, earlier this week Jazmine Barnes, an innocent 7-year-old was shot and killed by an unidentified light skinned male (according to eyewitnesses) when she was sitting in the car with her mother near a Houston @Walmart. Jazmine was shot in the head and her mother was wounded and is in the hospital. The murderer is still at large. Jazmine loved playing dress up and wearing her mom’s heels. She dreamed of being a teacher. @ShaunKing is working with Jazmine’s family and has raised a $75,000 reward for any information that can help find the man who did this. @CNN spoke with Jazmine’s mother, and her understandable anguish is just gut wrenching.
