@katiecouric : #BreakingNews: Michael Cohen, President Trump’s former personal lawyer has agreed to testify before the House Oversight Committee on Feburary 7th to give “a full and credible account” of his work for President Trump. It’s the first major move by the newly controlled Democratic House to deliver on their pledge to pursue investigations of the President and his inner circle. House Oversight Committee Chairman Elijah Cummings stated: “He’ll have the chance to tell his side of the story, and we’ll have a chance to question him. The American people deserve that.” In a statement, Mr. Cohen said “In furtherance of my commitment to cooperate and provide the American people with answers, I have accepted the invitation by Chairman Elijah Cummings to appear publicly on February 7th.
