@katiecouric : To color code or not to color code your books? With apologies to Hamlet, that is my question. After dismissing the practice as “moronic” during my Instagram live tour with the lovely @ariannahuff (I feel the variety of covers and colors presents a certain kind of beauty) my daughter Ellie took issue with my assessment, arguing that it’s more aesthetically pleasing to color code, particularly if you live in a small space. She proceeded to quote @mariekondo claiming it “sparks joy.” Knowing full well there are much more pressing issues, I thought I’d ask you, dear followers, what you think. Because sometimes for your own sanity, it’s nice to debate inconsequential things, just because. ❤️ Okay, take it away! 😊 📚 (don’t say anything unkind about Ellie or I will come and get you!
