@katiecouric : Today is #EqualPayDay. When women are underpaid, everyone is impacted. I believe each person should be fairly compensated for their work, and do not want to wait 100 years to get there. Though the difference between the earnings of men and women has shrunk, significant disparities in how women and men are paid still remain. Additionally, it is important to remember that women are not a single homogenous group - women of color are more likely to experience pay disparities than their white counterparts.
