@rachelzoe : I have always been asked throughout my career “Who were you most star struck by? Which celebrity that you have met or worked with? “ My answer was always the same. Karl Lagerfeld of course...he was my hero and my celebrity. To know me is to know my love of Karl Lagerfeld and @chanelofficial . 🖤 Karl was it for me..like no other. This 📸 was taken because my @rbermanus forced me to knowing what it would mean to me later in life...and he was right again. 🙏🏻 I was secretly 3 months pregnant with #skymorrison and not feeling well. We were at an event honoring Karl at Lincoln Center during #NYFW2010. We got pulled together by a photographer and I almost fainted because I was so nervous. I of course was wearing black and white @chanelofficial including my earrings. Every image I have of myself with Karl I look frozen and anxious. I was so in awe of the most brilliant man and most prolific designer that Karl Lagerfeld wasn’t real ...even when physically next to me. I held him and will forever hold him in a place of his own in the genius @chanelofficial universe that he created..along with @fendi and so many others he touched with his magic hands and creative mind. I will be forever grateful that I had the privilege of attending as many unforgettable @chanelofficial shows as I have in my career. There is only one #karllagerfeld and will never be another. #RIP 💔🙏🏻🖤 😪 .
