@clarencehouse : To end the first day of the #RoyalVisitFrance, The Prince and The Duchess attended a reception at Villa Masséna to celebrate ties between the UK and Nice. In a speech, The Prince said “We are neighbours by Fate, partners by choice and friends because of the shared experience and deep affection that binds us. “Time and again we have stood together, and struggled together, for the values that we both cherish.” His Royal Highness was then declared an Honorary Citizen of Nice by Mayor Estrosi. Tomorrow TRH will visit Lyon as the #RoyalVisitFrance continues. 🇫🇷
