@clarencehouse : Did you know one of The Prince of Wales’s military appointments includes Royal Honorary Colonel of The Queen's Own Yeomanry? Tomorrow, in West Yorkshire, HRH will attend a consecration service and present a new “Guidon” (regimental flag) to The Queen’s Own Yeomanry, a light cavalry regiment in the Army Reserve. Soldiers from the regiment have served in Afghanistan and Iraq. The Queen’s Own Yeomanry were presented with their last Guidon by The Prince of Wales at Alnwick Castle, Northumberland, in September 2007. 📸 PA
