@clarencehouse : The Duchess of Cornwall today attended the annual #ICAPCharityDay in support of @thesilverlineuk, of which HRH is Patron. The #ICAPCharityDay donates all revenues and commissions for one day’s trading to a selected group of charities around the world. Now in its 26th year, the day has supported more than 2,300 charities worldwide. @thesilverlineuk was set up by Dame Esther Rantzen and supports isolated older people by offering 24/7 advice, friendship or just a confidential chat. The helpline has taken over 2.2 million calls since it was set up five years ago. Today The Duchess and Dame Esther cut a cake to mark the helpline’s fifth birthday.
