@clarencehouse : The Duchess of Cornwall visited Fulham Palace today to mark the restoration of the Palace and its reopening to the public. The Duchess toured the Palace’s walled garden and walked through the Tudor courtyard, which has been restored using traditional Tudor techniques. Between AD 704 and 1973, Fulham Palace was home to 133 Bishops of London. Catherine of Aragon also lived in the Palace for three years before marrying King Henry VIII and later it was used as an auxiliary military hospital for wounded soldiers during the First World War. 📸 PA
