@clarencehouse : Today, The Prince of Wales carried out engagements in West Sussex. His Royal Highness first visited the new @l3harristech London training centre, which helps train new pilots and builds flight simulators used across the world. During the visit, HRH successfully completed a virtual take-off and landing at Glasgow airport on one of the flights simulators. The Prince also met cadets and young people taking part in the @princestrust Flying Scholarship Project, which will support three young people each year towards a future flying career. Following this, The Prince visited the Millennium Seed Bank at @wakehurst_botanic_garden . The MSB stores seeds from around the world to provide a safety net for species at risk of extinction and currently contains over 2.25bn seeds. During the visit, The Prince viewed the ‘State of the World’s Plants’ exhibition and the propagation area, where HRH heard about the research carried out by @kewgardens . Before departing, His Royal Highness walked through the Coronation Meadow at Wakehurst Place. The Coronation Meadows Initiative was launched by HRH in 2012 to mark the 60th anniversary of The Queen’s Coronation. 📷 PA / Clarence House
