@autumn_reeser : Still saying goodbye to this beautiful experience. One of the things I find so interesting is that people have questions and worry and wonder about how actors learn all our lines. Here’s my process: I don’t learn them. I learn my character’s emotional journey and then the lines exist because they have to and I say them because I need to. The situation the writer creates for my character gives rise to the thoughts which give rise to the emotion which gives rise to what I need to say. Or not say. There are many lines in a play that aren’t on the page and that you’ll never hear, but they’re just as real to me as the words you do hear. I really love getting immersed in this process of discovery, it always feels like a grand adventure to me. And I miss being on stage with these talented and generous actors already.
