@mandymooremm : Next up on the house tour is our kitchen. @sarahshermansamuel, @emilyfarnhamarchitecture and I worked hard to take away the terrible 80’s curved breakfast nook (the same thing we did in the master bath), while keeping the square footage it gave us. I knew I wanted the kitchen to be open and light, complete with open shelving and plenty of prep space and room to hang/chat around the island. Plus there’s a great view out the back sliding door that we wanted to take full advantage of. It’s the room that we end up spending the most time in and I couldn’t be more thrilled with how it came together. Peep the before and after photos here and on @sarahshermansamuel’s blog.
