@ijessewilliams : Receipts 🧾 League owners don’t poll Americans to see who’s “good at football.” They polled to see who white America “likes”. And they got caught. And now this lawsuit changes. And you can’t pretend to think it’s about whether he’s “good enough” (as if the multitude of inferior white quarterback play these last couple years wasn’t glaring enough.) The @NFL ownership class and commissioner are being exposed for organizing, researching and actively colluding against a Black quarterback for his political beliefs and choice to not participate in a recently (2009) introduced, VOLUNTARY, nationalist pregame ritual. 👏🏽 That 👏🏽 is 👏🏽 illegal. Literally and specifically because white, republicans said they didn’t like the black guy thinking for himself (choosing to kneel quietly) before he entertained them, the commissioner and owners organized to block him from gainful employment in their league.
