@gabunion : This week's #WCW is the legendary Cicely Tyson who celebrated her 94th Birthday just yesterday! Tyson is an actress, model,  and all around dynamo whose acting career has spanned more than six decades. Born in Harlem, as the daughter of immigrant parents, Tyson was no stranger to hard work. Now, Tyson is the recipient of three Emmy Awards, four Black Reel Awards, one Screen Actor Guild Award, and one Tony Award. She was also recently was named the first African-American woman to ever receive an honorary Oscar. With plenty of room to boast, the performer displays consistent grace, dignity, class, and profound professionalism. Not one to be silenced, she is a proud activist, displaying uncompromising dedication. The roles she has tackled during her acting career have made her a trailblazer, paving the way for other African American women to portray strong, starring roles on screen. Tyson is a staple of the American film history and a champion for natural beauty being portrayed on film and television. Happy Birthday to the queen!
