@abbiecornish : Leaving Melbourne after a long stint on a gig, I’ll be going home to my kitchen soon, reflecting on the love and warmth I have felt here in another territory. Mostly through the heart beats of others. Their friendship, their love, their homes and kitchens. I have exceptionally loved working with the crew on this gig. They are AMAZING. We have a stellar cast whom I appreciate greatly. I loved seeing my closest friends and family, and Melbourne has really turned up a darn good amount of great food, good times, and outstanding hospitality. Too many places to mention! But... Leaving @jackalopehotels right now in the Mornington Peninsula sure ain’t easy. I loved my stay here. Love the staff. Love the hotel. And the food by @guy_stan @_dootdootdoot and @rareharewine is greatness. I also was blessed enough to enjoy an incredible meal by chef @petergunn501 from @idesmelbourne here in a collaboration with Guy, and also at Peter’s restaurant #IDES in Collingwood, that blew my mind. Shout out to @ptleoestate and it’s delightful restaurant #Laura as well, and the beauty that is #TheMorningtonPeninsula. It’s not just always about the gig...it’s also about the places you go, the people you meet, and the experiences you have. That’s what I’ll be taking home to my own kitchen back in LA. All of this.
