@sophiabush : this 🖤✊🏽🖤 • I’ve had literal chest pains all day, reading the news. Witnessing the erosion of our principals and Constitution. Seeing the hypocrisy in a court that allows vendors to discriminate on a class of people protected by civil rights laws so as not to offend their religion, and then persecutes others based on their assumed religions. The hypocrisy of family values turning a blind eye to modern day internment camps, and to the kidnapping of other people’s children. The attack on women’s rights and healthcare for children and families. Healthcare that those voting to take ours away get to keep. The countless jobs, more every day, lost because a deal maker (really???) is making “deals” that are destroying our economy for the 99% while the already obscenely wealthy get wealthier. The blatant lying taking place without challenge. The threats of violence being made by those calling for civility. BTW, they have historically always called protestors uncivilized. Well nothing is more civilized than peaceful protest. And we aren’t going anywhere. The list is long, y’all. I know. It’s hard some days to fathom how this can all be happening simultaneously. We need rest. And sometimes we need reminders. I needed this one today. Today, and every day, I am doubling down on being #punkasfuck. Wanna join me?! We have a long road ahead.
