@jaime_king : Beauty is a fickle thing. My friends made me pretty for work today whilst my grandmother is passing moment by moment. Behind many painted faces on Instagram there is another truth going on. I want to be with her but there are no flights tonight so here I am. Please send Light and pray for a graceful transition for my Grandma. And if more people share the real story behind their painted masks maybe, just maybe, people would feel less alone on this planet. Maybe less people would compare themselves and circumstances to an unnatural state of curated pages and connect in their moments of need. I’m grateful for the support and love that surrounds me. Most grateful for the life I have shared with my grandmother. 🌹
