@jaime_king : Thank you to all officers who serve our community with dignity and honor. Who serve without judgement but clarity that all humans are worthy of being safe. Who protect those in need to those that are victims. Thank you to this man Detective Kevin Burger who without him I would have had no protection for my kids and family. The man who came in when my child and friend were attacked and stood by our side, taught me about what victims need, the support, how our systems are set up and what needs to be changed for our citizens, those who serve, victims and the justice system. There are no words for what these people do and their families who know every day is one of uncertainty but honor their partners dedication to all of us. #lawenforcementappreciationday #thankyou
