@menasuvari : This blip of the camera, how it digitally overlapped and overexposed. Well, to me, it simply “exposed”. I love this image because I feel it expresses the wild #Universe within me; the duality that’s ever present. The way that we can express ourselves, pretend, exhibit what we choose on the exterior, but with a deeper, darker, disconnected, fearful, critical interior. It’s haunting. Recently, I feel I’ve been learning the TRUE meaning of #selflove and #selfcare. It’s astounding how simple a notion of it all is, but so extremely hard to execute, sometimes. For most of my life, I’ve never felt “good enough”; I’ve lived in comparison and want and need, always looking for happiness or a quick fix, which left me emotionally drained and hollow. And, truly, all for naught. It’s never easy to navigate this existence, but we CAN make it a bit more gentle, by being a bit more gentle with ourselves! I encourage you all today to stop for a moment, FEEL and KNOW that you are wondrous the way you are! There’s no other mountain to climb or journey to go on other than our own. And it CAN be a beautiful one!
