The eyelash curlers were the makeup artist’s and were incidental to the shoot, but made it to the cover. For Schoerner in 1994, I loved the different set-ups in the studio; the Teddy Boy look under a mirrored palm tree (I kept the vintage mirrored mules and I treasure them to this day); the icescape with polar bears and the giant blue hand-seat! In 2002, Lee Jenkins photographed me jumping on a miniature trampoline (glad I was fit), hugging a giant polar bear teddy (easy) and wrangling a rabbit (looked cuddly but was keen on scratching me in an attempt to get away!).
