@lavernecox : This moment brought unexpected tears to my eyes this morning. I think it's in part because I am still raw from seeing #AmericanSon last night. But I think it's also because regardless of the results of the election on Tuesday #StaceyAbrams' candidacy in so many ways is the dream realized. That seems so clear to me watching #MyrlieEvers endorsement of Abrams on #AMJoy this morning. The fight that is continuing to be waged for #VotingRights in Georgia exemplified in Abrams' candidacy and all over this nation split screen with the living history of that fight in Mrs. Evers feels like God to me. As problematic as it is that we must continue to fight for voting rights in 2018, Stacey Abrams candidacy and those who have stumped for her (particularly this week), #BarackObama, #EricHolder, #JohnLewis and #OprahWinfrey represent the best of our nation and who we can be. #Excellence, #Love #Empathy #Hope #Possibility #Healing. We can heal. We can #vote
