@lavernecox : @janetmock dreams big. The announcement of her overall deal with @netflix this week is a reminder that we as trans people, we as women, we as people of color, we as all of us who are human must have the courage to dream bigger, to imagine a world, spaces, access that didn't exist before. I imagine Janet will be creating stories for Netflix that many of us are living in the real world but have yet to see on our screens. That takes a lot of courage, which takes a lot of vulnerability. Thank you to everyone at Netflix who said yes to this happening. This is the kind of courage we need to see from more people in power to bring more voices to the table. Thank you Ryan Murphy for mentoring this brilliant, intentioned dreamer. But this started with Janet, dreaming bigger, being excellent, being really good at what she does, having clear intentions and manifesting those intentions with consistent actions.
