Thankstaking is tomorrow! # White folx, WILL YOU COMMIT to having bold conversations about race with the other white people that you are spending the holidays with??? *Link in bio for tools to help with this!* # The call has been out for a long time. Folx of color have been asking white people to have these conversations for forever. When we don’t engage, our silence is approval. # White folks...we NEED to be having bold and uncomfortable conversations with each other about race. Learning how to have difficult but necessary conversations are an extraordinarily important skill for building our best lives and also for creating a world that is free from oppression. And like anything else that we are not practiced in, it will take diligence and commitment to do so in the best possible way. # So again, I am asking YOU...will you commit? Will you commit to learning more about how racism operates in our everyday lives? Will you commit to leaning into discomfort, even when you don’t feel like you have the perfect answers?
