@elliegoulding : I thought about songs dealing with new love, old love, lost and recovered, or never at all, and realised I’d never touched on the love that was found young and stayed. Some of my friends are still with the first person they fell in love with and that became my enchantment. 16 for me was hell and it was heaven. I was shy but I was determined. It was Pearl Jam, buffalos and trying to sing and play guitar at the same time, but it was also my scratched Ministry of Sound CD (scraping pounds together to buy another one from HMV from a waitress job) waiting feverishly for the dial up to connect 😭 to see if a boy was on MSN messenger whilst frantically trying to revise for GCSE’s sharing a room with my two sisters 😅 I think we probably all had very unique experiences, bad and good.
