Baby Olivia was decked out in mitts, colicky, nursed anytime she made a peep, put in front of the TV on a swing, we used the sound of an actual hair dryer to try and get her to sleep, she was swung much harder than I care to admit, we had her do tummy time even though she protested it, cried whenever we dressed her... well the list goes on. Parenting is, BIG TIME, trial and error and I didn’t have a lot of friends with kids. THE GOOD NEWS... Olivia is a fabulous young lady. She didn’t break. She had her own journey and being the first was a part of it. What she has always had is endless love from me and James. We did what we knew best and that’s all any of us can do. I share this because, while I have lots of advice for you after the fifth child, I was a first time Mom too. Sharing with you is THE ONLY reason I have decided to stay on Instagram. It takes time away from life. But I feel very compelled to share things that I wish I always knew.
