@vanderjames : One uncropped photo, so many questions: 1) Did I spontaneously increase in size so quickly that @vanderkimberly couldn’t get my head in frame? 2) Or... did everyone else at the farmer’s market - including @vanderkimberly and this lovely woman behind us - suddenly shrink? 3) If so... did my kids feel like giants? 4) Did they freak out and get crazy with power? 5) How did I not notice? 6) Did somebody then wave that #MenInBlack wand to erase my memory but forget about possible photographic evidence of this phenomenon? 7) If so... are the super-secret agents who guard our belief in such fragile constructs as physics and linear time getting sloppy? 8) Or are those super-secret agents just getting lazy? 9) If so... how would it be possible to enforce quality control over a secret process we’re all supposed to just trust in, but have no oversight over, and where there’s no path to recourse in the event of negligence or just plain error? 10) Why is my brain like this? 11) Why did we go to the farmers market in the rain with four children? So, so many questions...
