@jennifer.garner : Maria and Alma are @savethechildren coordinators serving families in rural Los Angeles county (yes—rural Los Angeles! Rural poverty is everywhere!) I have watched these women work with the moms, dads, and children of their community, making lives better with their empathy, their common sense, their wisdom, humor and their boundless fun and optimism. Leave it to @norahweinstein, @kellysawyer, @baby2baby and @shutterfly to come up with a day like yesterday. They brought our Save The Children family into town and gave them a proper #MothersDay celebration, complete with food (Yay, @onceuponafarm!) music, dance, pampering for the mamas and huge gift bags filled with oodles of essential goods for every child. Thank you, @baby2baby, for your tireless efforts to even the playing field for kids growing up poor in LA and beyond. You are amazing partners to @savethechildren and we are grateful.
