This is also 9.5 months postpartum.. . On the way to brunch I just about had a meltdown because nothing seemed to be going right and to top it off, the original outfit I had chosen had a malfunction and was out. When I put this romper on, I told Dev I didn’t want to look pregnant for my birthday or have people thinking about how fat I was. I’m struggling with a lot of loose belly skin after my c-section and it is driving me nuts. . Eventually I had to embrace it, we were running late and had people waiting on us. As the day went on however, and I came out of the other end of my mini anxiety attack, I realized, WHO CARES?? This body created a life and gifted me the most precious of baby boys. This body fought its hardest and literally brought me back from the brink of death. This body is battered and scarred and stretched to the max but it’s MINE and I am so very proud of it. .
