@halfadams : Tomorrow is finally here. We’ve spent two long years picking up the pieces of our last election. We’ve seen what happens when we take supposed inalienable rights and freedoms for granted. We’ve watched not just a president but an entire party forgo all sense of human dignity and decency with every passing day. We’ve seen children torn from their families at the border, we’ve witnessed the defense of white nationalism at the highest levels of power, we’ve seen sexual assault survivors mocked and ridiculed and silenced and we’ve watched more and more children, friends and co-workers spill into the streets, running from ever more gun violence that our conservative leaders tell us is unavoidable in a free society. Two years of watching, listening and witnessing what would have been unthinkable not so long ago. Well, tomorrow is here. The chance to say with one united, undeniable voice that we’re not walking any further down this road. This isn’t who we are. This isn’t who we want to be. Finally, after two brutal years, there is something we can actually do about it. We get one shot at this, guys. One shot. Make November 6th, 2018 a day we get to tell our kids about.
